C G Krishnadas Nair, has a Ph.D in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewa, Canada. After a brief teaching career as Assistant Professor (Metallurgical Engineering) he joined Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in 1971. Since December 1988, he has been serving as Managing Director of HAL’s Bangalore Complex consisting of Aircraft, Aerospace, Helicopter, Engine and Foundry and Forge Divisions. He has been actively involved in R and D of materials and process technologies. He has published over 136 technical / research papers.
