Air Commodore Eapen Mathulla, known to his numerous friends as 'Muttsy' retired from the Indian Air Force some years ago. He was educated at the Madras Christian College School and Cotton College, Guwahati (where he did BA Hons. in English Literature) and was on the directing staff at the college of Air Warfare, Secunderabad. A much travelled cosmopolitan, he brings to this book his considerable knowledge of cocktails which was obtained from countless bartenders and fellow drinkers.
