Guy G Dodson is Professor and Head, Crystallography, Department of Chemistry, University of York, United Kingdom. He devised along with Dorothy Hodgkin, very intricate experimental, crystallographic and computer techniques that lead to the final solution of the structure of Insulin. He is amongst the very few experts in the intricate structure of insulin and its biological action. He has written more than 150 original scientific papers, reviews, monographs and books.
