K V Channakeshava worked for nine years in various chemical manufacturing industries before joining the academics. He has been teaching for the past 19 years. He has been the head of the department of chemistry at Vijaya Pre-University College and is currently a Selection Grade Lecturer, Department of Chemistry, Vijaya First Grade College, Bangalore.
