K L Ramachandra Murthy got his Post Graduation Degree in Physics from Mysore University in 1972. He has been teaching physics for more than three decades at various government junior colleges. He presently works as a faculty at Bangalore Academy of Specialized Education (BASE), training students for IIT-JEE. He has actively involved in popularisation of Science through Karnataka Rajya Vignana Parishad (KRVP).
