As more and more individuals and organisations seek to address development issues all over the world, there has been a mind-boggling increase in the volume of words, phrases and concepts in development literature and action. Several words that are not part of everyday usage have also come into existence. Very often, we do not have ready access to a source, which provides even a preliminary explanation.
