Stories from Another School is her experience. The school is real, the children are real, and the incidents are real. Everything in this book is real except the names, which have been changed to keep their identities confidential. This book is a very serious effort for all of us to open our eyes wide and at least acknowledge that there are others too on this beautiful planet. The children in this school did not go to the school we went to. They did not have the teachers we had. They were not even as capable as we are in activities that we consider normal and take for granted. But, they were there, they are there and they will always be there at the fringes of our world and we may never realize, because we are so normal. Read this book. It may help, if not for anything, at least to change our perception of what is Normal.
