An electric circuit consisting of Linear, Lumped, Finite, Passive and Bilateral (LLFPB) elements is usually the basis for the analysis and understanding of multitudes of electrical and electronic systems, be it an isolated component like an electric motor, an amplifier, or an integration of several components like power systems. Any such device/system is usually represented by an equivalent circuit consisting of suitable interconnection of such LLFPB elements, along with independent and dependant sources.
