Spreadsheets, as a concept, emerged when the need of the business community grew with the growth in the size of organizations. Thus, the need to introduce computers came in so as to automate manual procedures. Packages, therefore, came into the market which did automatic calculations, analysis, list keeping as well as making use of presentation tools so as to depict in the form of graphs. These packages are known as spreadsheet packages.
