In this chapter we shall study simultaneous differential equation, Cauchy’s and Legendre’s linear differential equations and non linear differential equations of first order but not first degree.

When a physical system depends on more than one variable, its general behaviour leads to an equation containing partial derivatives which is also known as partial differential equation. In this chapter we shall study the formation of partial differential equations and the solution of homogeneous and non homogeneous partial differential equations.

In the first semester course, we have discussed the basic principles of integral calculus. In this chapter we shall discuss the applications of multiple integrals, special functions like Beta and Gamma functions and simple problems with standard limits.
