How to login. |
If you are already registered as an author, just key in your email id, your password and click Login. If you have forgotten your password - we hope you don't forget as it is very important - click Forgot Password.

How to register as a new author |
If you are a first time author at interlinepublishing.com, you will click Register shown in the Login dashboard and fill the form that appears. This form will register you as a new author. It is very important that you remember your email id and password. It is your primary identity and is required for uploading content, editing content and even for royalty settlements.
While filling in the form, some attention is required. As an author or teacher or even as an individual, you may be popular by some other name or even by your initials. Key in the name you wish to be known as or as known in the space given against Author Name. Please give the exact details for Institution. If you have a D-Bookstore in your instituion, select Co-publisher and select the name of your institution. This will ensure that your book will show correctly under your Institution benefiting you and your students. All the details you provide except your email, password and bank details will be used to optimise Search facility. Your Biography should not be more than 100 (One Hundred ) words giving only the most important aspect of yourself. Interline Publishing reserves the right to delete all content above one hundred words. Since this process may be automated, Interline Publishing should not be held responsible if the balance content does not make sense. This holds true even when done by human intervention.
Please provide the exact and accurate Bank Details as royalty will be credited directly to your account. Interline Publishing shall not be responsible if royalty payments are not settled when exact bank details are not provided.
Please read and understand the Terms and Conditions and check the box shown for having accepted the Terms and Conditions. Click Submit.

How to retrieve password |
You will have to remember your Login Email. Forgetting your Login Email is like forgetting your name. We will not help recover or recall the forgotten Login Email. We suggest you try to remember your password also. However, if you forget your password, click Forgot Password. A new window will open. Please re-enter your Login Email and click SUBMIT. Your password will be sent to your Login Email. Ensure that your password is not available to anyone. |

How to add new content |
You have logged in as an author. A page opens called Author Menu. Under Content click on Main title. Fill in the Box Title by giving the exact title of the book as you want displayed. Fill in the Box Description by giving key words that can be seen in the chapter you are uploading. Select Pricing. By default it takes 'Pricing by size'. Select Pricing by Pages showing how much you want your work to be priced. If you have a cover design for the book, please upload the same. Click SUBMIT.
Click New Content. Under the Subject dropdown box select the subject of your authorship. In the event of the required subject not found, click Add New seen at the bottom of the dropdown box and add the subject in the box that is activated in the right. State the title in the MainTitle box by selecting it. Select appropriate value in the Value dropdown box. Please give Content Title and Description of the Chapter you are uploading. Under Select Content, click Choose File and choose the PDF file from your computer. Read and understand the Terms and Conditions.Check I Agree if you accept the Terms and Conditions. Click SUBMIT. Your file will be uploaded and available to the whole world.
You will keep the master file with you and upload the PDF file. You can make changes any time to your content. To make changes, you will have to log in and click on 'View Content' select the book / chapter you have uploaded, click on the chapter you wish to edit, click on 'Edit' make the changes you require, to change the PDF File, click on 'CHANGE', select the modified PDF from your computer, and click on 'UPDATE'.

How to use fields and values |
Fields and Values help an author to precisely reach the targeted audience by defining the path a Reader should take to reach the content. Field defines the broader areas such as country, state, university, college etc. Values defines the precise area within the field such as the name of the country within the field country, name of the state, name of the university, name of the college etc. A field could have more than one value for example, a particular content could be useful to more than one semester, in more than one college, in more than one university, in more than one country etc. To use Fields and Values, select Field from the Field >dropdown box and add relevant values in the Value dropdown box.

How to view content |
You have logged in as an author. A page opens. Click Author Menu on the left hand side. click Content and click View Content. In the Content View window, select required subject from the Select Subject dropdown box and click Go. The number of records with a brief write-up of the selected subject gets displayed. Click the heading of the selected topic to display the entire content in PDF. An author is entitled to view only the author's content in PDF. Content of other authors can only be viewed after loging in as a reader. |

How to respond to a claim |
You have logged in as an author. A page opens. At the right half you will find Author Dashboard. At the bottom of the window you will find the number of claims against specific title of your content. Click the number and Author Claim window opens. Below each claim you will find a box. Key in your response and click POST REPLY. |

How to know the royalty amounts |
You have logged in as an author. A page opens. Click Author Menu on the left hand side. click Settings.On the dropdown box click My Account and a window opens on the right side showing Payment Details. The simpler way is, when you log in as an author, the Author Dashboard will give you all the details that include reports on contents uploades, royalty report, payment details and sales report. |

How to upload profile |

How to edit profile |
You have logged in as an author. A page opens. Click Author Menu on the left hand side. click Settings.On the dropdown box click Profile.The Profile window opens on the right. Click Edit button found at the bottom of this window. Make necessary changes to your profile, check I agree to Terms and Conditions and click Update.. |

How to log out |
Just click Logout. It is very important that you logout as otherwise anyone could intrude to your profile and settings, make changes damaging your reputation and making away with your royalty by changing your bank details. |

How to register as a new reader |
If you are a first time reader at interlinepublishing.com, you will click Register shown in the Login dashboard and fill the form that appears. This form will register you as a new reader. It is very important that you remember your email id and password. It is your primary identity and and will be used by Interline Publishing to contact you if necessary, for verification as per law and for authentication about the reality of your existence. For the same reason your contact number and other details are important.
Please read and understand the Terms and Conditions and check the box shown for having accepted the Terms and Conditions. Click Submit.

How to view or read content |
There are two systems. If you have not purchased any content and downloaded the same, You can do many things.
- You have logged in as a reader. A page opens. Click USER MENU on the left hand side. Click CONTENT and click Search. In the View Content window, select required subject from the Select Subject dropdown box and click the required subject. Click ADD FIELD. Select appropriate field from the Select Field dropdown box and appropriate value for the selected field. Repeat the action till the search criteria is fine tuned. The number of records with a brief write-up of the selected subject gets displayed. Click the heading of the selected topic to display the preview. The preview does not show all the pages but will show enough content to give you an idea of the quality and quantity of the content. If the computer system you are using does not have Java installed, the system will ask you to install Java. Please follow the steps given in your screen to install Java. Java is essential. If you like the content, you can add to Wish List, finalize the content you wishto own and add to My Cart, make the necessary payments and download to your system.
- If you have purchased the content, you can view or read your content online or offline.
- To read content online, log in as Reader, click CONTENT and click Downloads. All the content that has been downloaded by you is shown, you may click on any content and read the same. At any given time only one person can read any of your content from anywhere in the world, in other words two or more people cannot log in as the same Reader at the same time.
- To read content offline, you should have purchased the content and downloaded the same. Please follow the steps given in the Home Page and download iContentMate to your system. iContentMate is a dedicated reader that downloads and automatically saves the content you have downloaded in the appropriate folders.
- iContentMate downloaded will show as a shortcut on your desktop or you may see it in All Programs list. Double click iContentMate to open, the control panal opens, click Download, select the content you wish to immediately dowonload, and click Download. Once the download is complete, click Open. Click the content you wish to read and read.

How to finalize wish list |
By this stage you have read some topics and you wish to download some of them but you have not really finalized the list. It is at this time that you make the WISH LIST. For every topic you selected, below the Description you will find the button ADD TO WISH LIST. Click ADD TO WISH LIST. A new window opens giving a list of all the topics in your WISH LIST with a brief description and the price of the content in Indian Rupees based on the file size. Repeat the process again by clicking Search and add as many topics as you wish to your WISH LIST. Now that you know the price of each topic, decide the topics you wish to download, select them by checking topic and click ADD TO CART. |

How to add to cart |
By now you have finalized your wish list. If you want to remove any content from your wish list, select the topic by checking it and click REMOVE. The window reappears with the final selection. Click ADD TO CART.

How to download selected content |
You have finished the payment for the selected content in the payment gateway. You may close interlinepublishing.com. Open iContentMate from the Program Files Menu or click iContentmate on the desktop. Click Open and click Download. The contents purchased by you will download to the reader. Click Refresh. Double click the content you wish to read. You may make your notes on the right hand side. Click Save to save your notes. |

How to edit profile |
You have loged in as a reader. Under USER MENU click SETTINGS and click Profile. The Profile window opens. Click the Edit button. Make the necessary changes and click UPDATE. |

How to log out |

Claims |
How to register a claim |
You register a claim if you feel some content published has some conceptual errors or if it voilates the principles laid down in the CLAIMS page. It is possible only after you have perused some content and thought it fit to claim issues on the content. After you have logged in as a reader, a page opens. Click USER MENU on the left hand side. click CONTENT and click Search. In the View Content window, select required subject from the Select Subject dropdown box and click the required subject. Click ADD FIELD. Select appropriate field from the Select Field dropdown box and appropriate value for the selected field. Repeat the action till the search criteria is fine tuned. The number of records with a brief write-up of the selected subject gets displayed. Click the title of the subject and the content preview opens enabling you to read the content. At the bottom of the page is a box wherin you can keyin your claim and click POST CLAIM. Your claim and the author's response will appear in the claims page. |
